The Turkish yacht builder Mazu Yachts will attend the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival in September, where three of its new tender models will have their official debut: the 38 Open, the 38 Soft Top and the 42 Walk-Around.

The 38 Open has already been launched, while the 38 Soft Top is expected for launch by this month. The 42 Walk-Around is expected to be launched in July.

The 11.9-metre Mazu 38 Open is a sleek and aggressive day cruiser designed by Halit Yukay.
She features a fully customisable interior and deck layout, with an open layout with al-fresco dining on the aft deck, including a table with a drop-in leaf, a grill, a bimini top and an aft deck shower.
The model on display at the show will be capable of 30 knots thanks to an IPS 400 engine set-up, but an IPS 600 version will also be made available, pushing the top speed up to 45 knots. The Mazu 38’s hand-laid carbon hull adds extra strength and means this superyacht tender displaces just 9 tonnes.

The Mazu 38 Soft Top has again been designed by Halit Yukay and was sold to a client who wanted a “military look” and superyacht tender features. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 400 engines, the tender can cruise at a speed of 33 knots.

The 12.8-metre 42 Walk-Around centre-console model has a modern superstructure leaving space for passage on each side and featuring with plenty of freeboard to keep a family secure.
A generous sunbathing area is located aft, and the cockpit has a V-shaped settee with a smaller seat on the front of the console. Aft the swim platform provides space for water sports and is designed for easy boarding from shore or a dock. Twin IPS 600s allow the 42 Walk-Around to reach a top speed of 47 knots with a cruising speed of just under 32 knots.
