60-metre Project Falcon by HeesenHeesen Yachts has recently announced the sale of its first contract in 2018, the full-custom 60-metre motor yacht Project Falcon.

The 60-metre Fast Displacement project YN 19360 is the largest steel-hulled yacht built by Heesen to date.

Her clean and chiselled exterior lines are by Omega Architects, who have introduced an innovative design feature to embellish the profile: the bird’s wing. This eye-catching multi-faceted shape visually integrates three decks (main, bridge and sundeck) without interfering with the uninterrupted horizontal lines of the glazed windows. The result is a strong and muscular 60-metre yacht with a Gross Tonnage of 1,060GT. Floor-to-ceiling windows and aft doors coupled with lowered bulwarks ensure panoramic views and plenty of natural light flooding the vast interior.

Sixteen guests will be accommodated in four twin suites on the lower deck, a VIP connected with a twin stateroom and media room on the main deck forward, a VIP amidships on the bridge deck, and a master stateroom on the bridge deck aft equipped with unobstructed 180-degree panoramic views and a private aft terrace with a whirlpool. Fourteen crew will be able to discretely service all areas thanks to separated stairs and will have plenty of storage thanks to the additional dry and cold storage on the tank deck.

Powered by two MTU 12V4000 M65L diesel engines, Project Falcon will reach a top speed of 17.5 knots, with a range of 4,200 nautical miles at 13 knots. Thanks to her Fast Displacement Hull Form she will be extremely efficient and seaworthy. She will be built according to Lloyd’s rules and regulations for the classification of Special Service Craft [+] 100A1 SSC Yacht G6, LMC, UMS.

Project Falcon, an exciting new addition to a fast-growing fleet, pairs a highly distinctive character with Heesen’s heritage of sporty elegance. She is expected for delivery in 2021.
