Bilgin Yachts will build its largest superyacht to date

Share:

Bilgin_263_(12)2Bilgin Yachts has recently signed a new order with a longstanding client for the Bilgin 263.
Bilgin will be the largest vessel ever built by the Turkish shipyard and also one of the largest superyachts ever built in Turkey: infact, the average length of the Bilgin yachts has until now been between 35 and 50 metres, while the largest yacht built in Turkey is, since 2013, the 72m Axioma by Dunya Yachts.
The 80m superyacht, which has been designed by Unique Yacht Design, is the third project whose construction was commissioned to Bilgin by the same client. Unique Yacht Design has been working on the Bilgin 263 concept for the past six months, focusing on naval architecture and exterior styling, while Ozgün Yacht Design handled the engineering part and London Based H2 Yacht Design conceived the interiors.
Bilgin is, with its latest upcoming model, matching the needs of a new segment of the superyacht market in Turkey: in fact, 15 superyachts currently under construction in Turkey with an LOA greater than 60m cover the 28.3 % of the Turkish order book in the superyacht market.
According to Bilgin Yachts, the construction of the 263 will begin in March 2016, and the complete vessel will be delivered by 2019.
