Massimiliano Iannello is the new Marine Sales Manager for Volvo Penta Italia

Massimiliano Iannello has been appointed Marine Sales Manager for Volvo Penta Italia, under the direction of Nicola Pomi, previously Sales Manager for Italy, Spain and Portugal, and now Vice President for entire Europe.

Starting from May 2nd, 2018, Massimiliano Iannello has taken the lead of Volvo Penta’s leisure boating and commercial sector in Italy. Massimiliano is now part of the Management Team of Volvo Penta division of the Volvo Group Italia S.p.A.

Iannello, 38 years old, holding a degree at IULM University in Milan, worked in some of the most important advertising agencies in the world, and later on held leading positions in sales management for the fashion and luxury industry, and yet developing his passion for boats and motors since his adolescence.

Continuity and new challenges

“Massimiliano Iannello brings along a deep commercial knowledge and good negotiation competencies, which are necessary in this moment of the great growth of the leisure boating and commercial sector,” said Nicola Pomi, Vice President Marine Engine Sales for Volvo Penta in Europe. “Besides the continuity of the work I have been carrying on, Massimiliano Iannello represents the willingness and ability to meet new challenges, like the ones I have been taking up in the latest years, to assess more and more the role of Volvo Penta in the superyacht sector. I wish the very best to Massimiliano for his new role in Volvo Penta.”
