On Monday 29 May, Custom Line launched the third Navetta 37 at the Ferretti Group’s yard in Ancona: she is the fifth hull sold since her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival last September.

The new 37-metre yacht is the first one to be entirely built by Custom Line since relocating operations to Ferretti Group’s superyacht division in Ancona, where the steel and aluminium fleet are produced under the CRN, Riva and Pershing brands, along with the Custom Line Navetta fibreglass fleet.

The owner of the third Navetta 37 launched is from the Middle East, an important target market for Custom Line where it competes with Dubai-based Gulf Craft.

“We are extremely proud of the launch of this third Navetta 37”, said Stefano de Vivo, the Chief Commercial Officer of the Ferretti Group, “because it is the first one fully built at the Group’s renovated nautical hub in Ancona. The end market, the Middle East, is just as important as it is a key area for our business, where the industry is seeing extraordinary growth and where our Custom Line Navettas have always been the benchmark super yachts for owners passionate about Made in Italy yachting”.

Custom Line is currently building a total of nine superyachts. Alongside the fourth and fifth Navetta 37, three Navetta 28, three Navetta 33, and the first Navetta 42 are under construction at the Ancona-based yard. Among those, the Navetta 33 is a new model which will be unveiled this summer, while Navetta 42 is the largest Custom Line model ever, expected for launch in 2018.
