Double Down superyacht back on the market

213' Codecasa Double Down in Miami FLAfter acquiring the 65-metre superyacht Lady Lau last year in August, John Rosatti has chosen to put his recently refitted 65-metre yacht Double Down back on the market.
The yacht had been built by Codecasa in Italy, in 2010, and John Rosatti bought it in Imperia right after selling his 49-metre yacht Remember When, because he was missing too much the yachting life. At that time, Double Down was not in optimal conditions, as she had already been owned by owners who seldom used it: non-use, as well as over-use, is quite damaging for vessels.
While travelling around the Mediterranean in the first weeks of ownership, Rosatti noted down all that he wished to change in the superyacht: this included interior styling, which used to be inspired at oriental floral themes to please the previous owner, as well as exterior paint and some engineering features.
Rosatti moved Double Down to Fort Pierce in Florida where the yacht undertook an intensive refit at Taylor Marine. She received a new coat of exterior paint, extensive varnish work completed, and a five-year overhaul of her two main engines.
During his months of ownership, Rosatti made Double Down available for charter for a few weeks, a first-time in his private yacht owner experience.
The yacht is currently located West Palm Beach and she is jointly listed for sale through Thompson Westwood & White, Northrop & Johnson and Merle Wood & Associates: she will be showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show next month.
