YXT 20 support vessel soon to be launched

Share:

YXT_20YXT Yacht X Tender, part of Lynx Yachts, is completing the first hull of their new 20-metre support vessel for yachts from 30 to 70-metre long, which is planned for launch in June.
The project has been conceived on the success of the 24-metre YXT 24, launched in 2014, and it features exterior design by Diana Yacht Design and interior design by Franck Darnet Design. Compared to the previous model, the YXT 20 has a more traditional bow and the stern beach club is fixed.
The vessel has a generous deck with plenty of space and two cranes for tenders and additional toys. The primary crane covers the deck area, and the secondary at the stern also serves as the gangway. Each crane has a lifting capacity at a 5-metre extension of 1.7 tons and has a full 360° slew.
A four-person crew will be accommodated onboard in dedicated crew quarters with a galley, laundry and indoor storage areas. The YXT 20 will be the smallest vessel in the brand’s range of steel displacement support vessels upon completion.
The yacht is currently completing painting and power plant installations, with delivery expected by the end of July. She will then be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016.
