The first phase of construction has been completed, ahead of a long and careful development before the yacht can be sent to the water. About the construction update, Peter Brown from Burgess Yachts , the Owner’s representative of YN 18556, commented that the keel has been “well and truly laid.”
The delivery of the new yacht in build, a fast-displacement, steel-hulled vessel, is expected in 2019.
Heesen Yachts Board of Directors said: “We are truly honoured that the Owner chose our shipyard to build his full custom yacht. This will be another splendid addition to our fast-growing fleet and we are very excited that today this incredible project started taking shape!”.

They learnt when the process makes the difference – even beyond the university workshop – with Plexus structural adhesives, spray tack and infusion consumables, key elements in composite materials engineering.
