Pearl Yachts announced their attendance at the upcoming Southampton BOATS2020 where the Pearl 62 will be on display. The Pearl team will join Berthon International, Pearl Yachts’ official UK dealer, from 11th to 20th September.
Looking forward to a boat show close to home, Iain Smallridge, Pearl Yachts’ Managing Director states: “As a British boat builder, we’re always proud to attend and support the Southampton International Boat Show. This year’s edition of BOATS2020 is particularly special, marking the first time that we have been able to come together as a community in a long time.
Despite the challenges presented over the past few months, the Pearl team has continued to work hard, with a successful summer season and a number of new Pearl yachts currently under construction. With comprehensive health and safety measures in place at this year’s show, we are excited to bring our latest model, the Pearl 62, to Southampton and look forward to connecting with clients, industry peers and yachting enthusiasts once again.”
Pearl 62 on display
The 18.61-metre Pearl 62 has experienced high demand in the market since the model’s official launch at boot Düsseldorf 2020, with four hulls sold before its launch. Defined by exceptional versatility, the Pearl 62 offers owners a selection of Kelly Hoppen interior designs and a wide range of additional features: from an optional hardtop with a sunroof to a hydraulic bathing platform. This is the only yacht in this size class to offer four double cabins as well as the choice of a jet-ski garage or crew cabin.
A combination of expert exterior design and naval architecture by Bill Dixon and sophisticated interior design by Kelly Hoppen MBE results in a yacht built for living the best of life at sea. The spacious flybridge is complete with a covered dining area, bar and comfortable seating, while on the main deck forward, large sun pads create the perfect set up for lazy days on the water.
Safe show environment
In light of the significant challenges posed by the current global landscape, the Southampton International Boat Show reassures visitors and exhibitors that every measure has been taken to ensure a safe show environment for all.
Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine, the event organisers, states: “Visitors can expect a safe and quality day of viewing and browsing, knowing that the event is fully endorsed by Southampton City Council and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and that it meets Public Health England COVID-19 safety requirements.”
The Southampton BOATS2020 will be held at Mayflower Park from 11th – 20th September.
