CarraraFiere, organizer of Seatec-Compotec Marine and “NAVIGO”, a service center for the innovation and development of boating organizer of YARE, have joined forces in a synergy aiming to set up in the coming years, a Tuscan event dedicated to professional boating and yachting: an important meeting opportunity for the actors of the international shipbuilding industry.

Tuscany: top of the yacht production worldwide
The goal is developing together an international event representing the pride of an industrial area at the top of the yacht production worldwide, with the aim of establishing the ‘Settimana della Nautica Toscana’.
Tuscany is the region where the marine supply chain is almost exclusively oriented to the superyacht sector with 5,000 marine companies (of which 3,000 related to yachting), about 18,000 direct employees, 70 specializations (between production and services).
An entire District that can count on a total production value of 2 billion euros for boating (with an average of + 10% in recent years excluding the current one), equal to 50% of the national figure; 30% of yachts over 30 meters (vocation of the entire district) produced in the world and a foreign clientele equal to 95% in the superyacht sector.
Two Italian luxury yachting events
On the occasion of the next March 2022 editions, Seatec-Compotec Marine and YARE propose a connection between the two events that will join the production centers of Viareggio and Carrara, pillars of a leadership of the highest international value in the panorama of luxury yachting and shipbuilding.
The organizers aim at establishing a “consortium” of the quality supply chain, representing the entire Italian marine industry.
Thanks to the partnership signed between the two Companies, with the endorsement of the Tuscany Region, and the Municipality of Carrara, Seatec-Compotec Marine, scheduled for Thursday 17 and Friday 18 March, and YARE (sponsored by the Municipalities of Viareggio, Camaiore and Pietrasanta), scheduled from Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 March, with a preview on Tuesday 15 March for the Captains guests of the event, will share some selected meetings.
B2B event and B2C meeting
The agreement between the events, while keeping the distinctive characteristics of each event, fully enhances their identities: Seatec-Compotec Marine as a B2B event with an exhibition format aimed to the marine subcontractors and one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and the most prestigious Italian and international shipyards delegates, sponsored by the ICE / ITA Agency.
YARE as the only international event dedicated to the yachting industry focused on Superyacht Refitting and Aftersales sector – as a B2C meeting between Superyacht Captains and production, refit and marine yards and all Italian and non-service companies.
The two events will join forces on Friday 18 March with the visit of YARE’s guest Captains to Seatec-Compotec Marine and an “Fuorisalone” event in Viareggio organized by “Navigo” in which Seatec-Compotec Marine exhibitors will take part.
