QS Seamaster introduces a brand-new thruster model at the forthcoming boat shows in September. The QS 30-110 for the first time on the European shows integrates the current range of QS thrusters and meet the requirements of boats ranging from 5 to 8 m.
Features of the 30-110
QS Seamaster introduces its latest model of thrusters at the upcoming European boat shows. This is one of the smallest thruster of the electric QS DC thrusters, which includes several models up to the biggest QS 300-300.
Powered by advanced DC motors, the QS 30-110 features 30 Kgf thrust, an internal diameter of 110 mm, 1,3 kW power, 12 V, a single propeller and is suitable for boats from 5 to 8 m.
Like all the models of the QS range – except QS 300-300 – can be proportional or ON/OFF. The ON/OFF model can be transformed into proportional in both analogic/digital version with CAN-bus protocol.
The QS-Seamaster range is 100% made in Italy and includes by now a complete range of thrusters: DC electric thrusters, AC 3PH, DC-AC brushless, hydraulic, tunnel or retractable thrusters, ON/OFF and proportional (only proportional for the DC-AC brushless).
All models are manufactured with high-resistant components which ensure performance from each motor. The hydrodynamic profile of the gear leg is designed to reduce turbulence, to enhance efficiency and reduce the noise level.
The 4 or 5 blade propellers are designed to ensure efficiency from each motor.
A system control, equipped with a microprocessor, is activated in advance in case of motor overheating without suddenly interrupting the thruster use while ensuring its operation. The aluminium anodic protection can be easily replaced while the unique-design flexible coupling protects the thruster structure from mechanical shocks.
QS Seamaster provides also a range of control systems: ON/OFF analogic and pushbutton, single or double joystick, analogic and digital proportional. They have been designed and tested to withstand different climatic and environmental conditions.
Data Hidrolik windlasses
SAIM Marine introduces the range of Data Hidrolik vertical and horizontal windlasses into the Italian market. At the upcoming boat shows in September Saim Marine shows the model DZC 5000, a vertical windlass suitable for boats from 48 to 60 metres, available in electric and hydraulic versions.
SAIM Marine introduces the products of the Turkish company Data Hidrolik for the first time at the forthcoming boat shows. Data Kidrolik has been manufacturing windlasses, mooring capstans and electric and hydraulic steering systems for a broad range of marine vessel since 1945.
The Italian company was designated as the sole distributor of Data Hidrolik deck machinery and steering systems last June as well as sales and after-sales services provider.
The DZC 5000
This model will be for the first time on show at the Monaco Boat Show at SAIM Marine exhibition area. It is a vertical windlass, suitable for boats from 48 to 60 metres, available in the electric version, powered by alternating current motors, as well as in the hydraulic version.
The DZC 5000 features a gypsy for short link chains 23 or 26 mm (DIN 766) or for stud link chains of 19, 20,5, 22, 24 e 26 mm. The gypsy is equipped with both clutch and band brake to allow independent operation of gypsy and warping drum.
Chain can be dropped by loosing band brake. The gypsy is engaded by means of dog clutch. Electric motor driven models are equipped with torque limiting couple for overload protection.
The electric version is equipped with a of 11.000 W motor and provides a continuous pull of 4.600 kg (max pull 5.750 kg for 2 min).
The current draw at maximum continuous pull is 21A, the weight is 700 kg. The hydraulic version provides a continuous pull of 5.000 kg (mx pull 5.500 kg for 2 min), with hydraulic pression of 165 bar and oil flow on motor of 55 lt/min. It weighs 660 kg.
Windlass with warping drum or without drum, painted steel parts and mirror polished stainless parts above deck, starter with frequency converter, remote hydraulic released gypsy brake are offered as options.
The models of the vertical range are suitable for boats from 20 to 100 metres and according to the models feature gypsy for short link chains 12 to 26 mm (DIN 766) and for stud link chains from 12,5 to 42 mm. Data Hidrolik range includes also vertical windlasses.
