Seatec, now Seatechnology, is an Italian exhibition dedicated to technology, components, design, and subcontracting for the recreational marine industry. Recognized today as one of the most relevant marine technology trade shows in Italy, the event is conceived and organized by IMM CarraraFiere and Compotec Marine, positioning Tuscany as a strategic hub for yacht components and marine design.
International Identity
This event, focused on the composites industry and its multiple applications, has become a key reference point among European marine industry exhibitions, strengthening its international orientation year after year, with significant participation from foreign exhibiting companies and a delegation of buyers organized by ICE-Agenzia (Italian Trade Agency).
During the Tuscany Yachting Week, held on March 12–13 between Marina di Carrara and Viareggio, international exhibitors from nine countries (Albania, Belgium, China, Germany, United Kingdom, Iran, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey) will engage with the Italian marine components and accessories industry, which ranks among the global leaders in quality, creativity, and innovation. Italian marine manufacturing is highly regarded and sought after by shipyards worldwide, both within and beyond Europe, particularly within the expanding recreational marine industry Europe network.
Cooperation with ICE-Agenzia
Thanks to the long-standing and well-established cooperation with IMM CarraraFiere, and building on initiatives successfully implemented in previous years, collaboration with ICE-Agenzia has been further strengthened. This cooperation materializes through the organization of an incoming program for foreign operators from numerous international markets currently showing significant growth potential in terms of demand for Made in Italy marine technology.
Particular attention has been devoted by the overseas offices of ICE-Agenzia in selecting buyers, importers, and distributors closely connected with the recreational marine and composites sectors, reinforcing Seatechnology’s role as a gateway to the global marine composites exhibition landscape.
The delegation visiting Seatechnology and Compotec Marine includes 38 representatives from 13 countries: Argentina, Brazil, China, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, USA, and Vietnam.
All these countries are actively engaged in boat and yacht construction, marine component manufacturing and distribution, and composite parts production—particularly several emerging markets where the recreational marine sector is experiencing significant growth.
B2B Matchmaking
The delegations further expand opportunities for direct engagement through structured B2B matchmaking sessions between exhibitors and international representatives from the marine and composites industries. This initiative supports an increasingly essential internationalization process and reflects the progressively globalized nature of both sectors, consolidating Seatechnology’s positioning among the leading marine technology trade shows in Italy.
