Next-Gen Hybrid power for yachts: AS Labruna launches HEVOlution series

Share:

AS Labruna presents the new HEVOlution range of hybrid generators and range extenders: a series of state-of-the-art marine power solutions designed to meet the growing needs for sustainability and performance in the marine industry. The first model in the range, HEVOlution 80-37, represents a decisive step toward innovative and environmentally friendly power systems for boats and yachts.

Flexibility and concern for the environment

Generators in the HEVOlution line are designed for maximum efficiency and versatility. These hybrid marine generators are variable-speed systems that can be powered by HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) in combination with an integrated large-capacity battery capable of handling high continuous discharge currents.

This configuration allows extremely flexible use: the technology can operate in serial hybrid propulsion mode for electric propulsion, power on-board services, or perform both tasks simultaneously.

The technological core of the HEVOlution range is designed to be sustainable and suitable for many applications, providing high performance and a significant reduction in environmental impact. Using HVO, these generators can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 90%, offering an environmentally friendly solution without compromising power and reliability.

High performance and absolute silence

HEVOlution 80-37 is designed to deliver 80 kW continuous power quietly and efficiently, thanks to its battery with NMC 811 technology. One of the strengths of this sustainable marine generator is its rapid recharging capability: the battery can be recharged from 20% to 80% in just 17 minutes via the generator, or in about an hour using renewable sources such as solar panels or wind generators, if adequate power capacity is present.

HEVOlution 80-37 provides an ideal combination of performance, quiet operation, and environmental friendliness. The use of high-quality components is one of the secrets of its efficiency: the HVO-powered FNM 13 HPE common rail engine combines with a Bosch Engineering electric generator, while the battery ensures durability and reliability even under the most demanding conditions.

This innovation positions AS Labruna at the forefront of the hybrid propulsion for yachts movement, offering real answers to shipyards and operators who seek a balance between energy independence, performance, and green transition.
