The new C-Map Premium App, available for all brands in the Navico range, offers a host of new premium features, advanced features, mirroring and control of Simrad® Lowrance® and B&G® multifunction displays from a smartphone or tablet.
B&G
B&G®, specialist in the sector of sailing navigation and nautical instruments, has officially presented its app, both in free version and with a new premium version suitable for the B&G chartplotter range. The B&G app is available on both the Apple Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
“Ideal for planning your next cruise or plotting your route in advance from the comfort of your home, it’s simple to board and synchronize directly with the B&G display. Once integrated, the app can be used as a screen extension using the mirroring function and control,“said Simon Conder, Global Head of Brand, B&G. “The app can also be used to review previous cruises or regattas, providing useful data for the next boat trip.”
Premium version of the B&G app includes global maps and offline maps, automatic identification system (AIS), B&G App Traffic, 5-day weather along the route and 5-day weather overlay, GPS navigation data and lines, track record and a wide range of C-MAP cartographic functions.
Lowrance
Lowrance®, a leading player in the fishing electronics industry since 1957, has officially unveiled its new app, which includes a host of new premium features, advanced features and perfect synchronization with the full range of Lowrance fishfinders and chartplotters. It’s available both on the Apple Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

The premium version of the Lowrance app includes custom depth shading, a key feature for anglers, as well as high resolution depth maps, offline maps and global charts, automatic identification system (AIS), Lowrance app traffic, 5-day weather along the route and 5-day weather overlay, GPS navigation data and line and track logging.
Simrad
The new Simrad® app was unveiled this week by the marine electronics leader, who is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. The updated app includes a full premium offering with new mapping functions, advanced functionality, mirroring and control of Simrad® multifunction displays from a smartphone or tablet. It is available on both the Apple Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

The premium version of the Simrad ® app offers global maps and offline maps, high resolution bathymetric charts, AIS (Automatic Identification System), Simrad® Community Traffic, 5-day weather overlay along the route and 5-day weather overlay, data and GPS navigation lines, track logging and custom depth shading. This app also offers detailed fishing information for anglers and sport fishing enthusiasts.
C-MAP charts are powered by data from official hydrographic offices and are continuously updated and populated by thousands of information sources to enrich the data and provide clarity on the route, whether it is a trip along the bay or a longer cruise on the open sea.
