The Fishing Tournament was born thanks to the collaboration between the Italian Yacht Club and Navico, owner of the Lowrance brand, world leader in the sector of electronic fishing equipment, which supports the YCI with many initiatives dedicated to passionate members of this sport who, in the sea and in fair competition, it finds its natural environment.

The race, which this year will have the patronage of FIPSAS, will be divided into two categories: Coastal and Altura trolling, whose regulations, based on standards set by the Italian Federation, can be consulted in the section of the site of the Italian Yacht Club dedicated to Fishing Tournament.

Attending the event, three important Lowrance ambassadors including the well-known angler Riccardo Fanelli, already protagonist of an appreciated speech at the YCI, Stefano Adami, the Genoese sport fisherman who returns to the Tournament for the second year and the freediver / fisherman and sailor Francesco Sena.

Also in 2022, the concept of this event will be based on fair play, correctness, fun, chat & release, as well as respect for the rules and the environment, values that strongly unite the YCI and Lowrance.

• 18:00: Briefing to competitors
• 8.00 pm Owners’ dinner at the Italian Yacht Club

Saturday 8th October:
• 06:30 Departure
• 2.00 Race time limit
• 15:00 Return time limit
• 16:30 Award ceremony at the Italian Yacht Club

NB: in the event of adverse weather conditions, the organization reserves the right to anticipate or postpone the race by giving timely notice to the participants.
