parker nitrodryParker Hannifin, specialised in motion and control technologies, will showcase a comprehensive selection of its components and complete system solutions for marine applications at Europort 2021, which will be held in Rotterdam from 2-5 November.

As one of the world’s leading conferences for the maritime industry, Europort 2021 has 1,100 confirmed exhibitors, and is expected to attract more than 27,000 visitors with multiple conferences held across the three days.

Focus on the environment

Europort 2021 will have a strong emphasis on environmental technologies, with a focus on areas such as lower emission marine fuels, electrification, and hybridization. Parker will be demonstrating a broad range of marine components and systems which can help customer’s reduce emissions while maintaining operational performance.

New products include high-performance flanges, turbine series filters, PVoc high-pressure pumps, NitroDry – a water removal unit, Polyflex high-pressure wire hoses, and the DIGI Plus field test kits, which will be on display at the event.

Also being exhibited will be the NitroDry, a compressed air dryer, which is ideal for use in lube oil systems that use biodegradable or mineral oil. Through the use of extremely dry nitrogen gas, NitroDry removes free and dissolved water particles, as well as dissolved oxygen, from oil. By incorporating a dryer, system pollutants are eliminated resulting in less maintenance, minimized downtime, and improved overall system reliability.

Parker’s PVoc series of variable displacement axial piston pumps, which are due to be displayed, have been developed specifically for marine applications, setting a new standard in robustness, long service life, and versatility.

As the green revolution sweeps through the marine sector, Parker will guide and advise visitors to Europort 2021 on real and lasting business solutions: whether shifting to lower-emission marine fuels, electrification, and hybridization, or transitioning to other green technologies.
