boat accessoriesCMC Marine will be one of the protagonists of Metstrade Connect on December 10, an event organized by RAI Amsterdam to make up for the cancellation of the 2020 Marine Equipment Trade Show (Mets), the Dutch show dedicated to pleasure boating components and accessories.

The interactive platform includes several round tables (Tech Talk) on the main themes of the sector, such as the state of the international boating industry, sustainability of the sector, cyber security and yacht design.

Tech Talk pleasure boating

Alessandro Cappiello, CEO of CMC Marine, could hardly not have been one of the panelists of the Tech Talk dedicated to on-board comfort, confirming the company’s international leadership in the production of stabilization systems for pleasure boating.

The round table moderated by Ed Slack, editor of IBI Magazine and editorial director of IBI Boating Communications, will analyze the characteristics and steps needed to make yachting safe and comfortable, and then discuss the possible contribution of other sectors to comfort onboard yachts.

Cappiello, who founded CMC Marine in 2005, commented: “Being chosen for this event is yet another confirmation of the work done in recent years and of our international expansion. Mets Connect is a useful and original event, which differs from other online trade-fairs staged in recent months: discussion is very important in an industry like ours, which is increasingly international and varied and ready to welcome suggestions and technologies from other sectors such as automotive, home automation or industrial design“.

The “Onboard Comfort” Tech Talk will take place online on Thursday December 10, from 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm. Register your attendance at the event on www.metstrade.com
