Frauscher and Frauscher Italia come to the rescue of the ‘orphan’ boating enthusiasts of the Cannes Boat Show by offering them a unique opportunity to admire the models of the Austrian shipyard.
The official presentation of 1212 Ghost will not be postponed but simply moved a few kilometers, to Port Grimaud, France, where the awaited novelty will be available for visits and sea trials, together with 1414 Demon Air and 1017 GT Air starting from September.
Features of the Ghost yacht
With its 39 feet, the new 1212 Ghost fits perfectly into the range between the best seller 1017 GT / GT-Air and the award-winning 1414 Demon / Demon Air, proposing itself as the ideal solution both for those who love to navigate inland waters and for those who love go to discover the coasts of the most fascinating seas in the world.
About the interior and exterior designes, Frauscher chooses again Stephan Everwin, Austrian designer who was the author of the 1017 GT Air, with important collaborations with the Porsche brand. It is no coincidence that on board the 1212 Ghost there are clear references to the automotive sector, a feature that unites the design of the most recent models in the range.
As for the previous creations, Frauscher also confirms the collaboration with the designer Harry Miesbauer, who designed the hull and the relative water lines, thus contributing to creating a product characterized by surprising qualities of stability, maneuverability and acceleration in relation to the considerable habitability.
A refined design
Main features of 1212 Ghost are the large teak deck, the frameless windshield and the iconic vertical bow. The large side air intakes, already presented on the 747 Mirage and then on the 1414 Demon, characterize the design and define its profile in a clear and recognizable way.
The stern part is instead characterized by the generous teak platform, framed by an innovative “open” profiling of the sides. There is also a large cabin, that is spacious and versatile: thanks to the collapsible table (electrically) it is possible to transform the environment into an elegant double cabin while the large and complete toilet has a ceiling whose height guarantees excellent possibilities of movement.
Driving power and control
1212 Ghost is an essential day cruiser. Stylish, practical and functional, thanks to some features such as the retractable bimini and the retractable anchor, characterized by extraordinary driving comfort guaranteed by the bow thruster, the functional joystick and the perfect view of the piloting seat, positioned exactly on the line central of the boat.
Powered by two 430 HP Mercruiser sterndrive petrol engines each or two Volvo Penta D6-440Hp sterndrive diesel engines, the boat offers a range of up to 300 miles with an 850 liter fuel tank.
The 1212 Ghost will arrive in the coming months In Italy, while all the other Frauscher models are always available at the Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli / Frauscher Italia which this year, exceptionally, will remain open until October 25, in search of the “lost spring” due to Lockdown .
