Jet Ski Lift

Compass Marine expands its range of marine lifting systems with a new jet ski lift that combines an excellent weight/load ratio, ease of operation, and a secure mechanical locking system for safe navigation.
The lift features a mounting base for the boat, a lifting column, a circular step structure that doubles as a lifting arm, and a loading/unloading platform with adjustable support pads for a precise fit.

When the jet ski is not positioned on the lift, the system can also be used as a swim platform, thanks to its integrated steps and a small beach platform at the lowest point — an elegant example of multifunctional yacht equipment design.

Constructed entirely from AISI 316 stainless steel, the lift stands out for its circular design and rotation system, which guarantee a robust yet compact and lightweight structure. Overall dimensions are 150 x 130 x 150 cm, and when extended, it compensates for a height difference of 80 cm with a total reach of 250 cm, suitable for jet skis up to 3 metres in length.

The movement is electro-hydraulic, with a mechanical safety lock that engages automatically once lifting is complete to ensure safe navigation. The lock automatically disengages during lowering, while an integrated safety sensor prevents boat movement if the lifting arm is not in the correct position.

With a total weight of 150 kg and a maximum load capacity of 300 kg at full extension, the lift ensures durability and reliability even in demanding marine conditions. Custom-built solutions are available upon request, including tailor-made dimensions, load capacities, and design features — confirming Compass Marine’s commitment to precision marine engineering and advanced hydraulic yacht systems.

Students, Composites and Performance

Vaber worked with Politecnico di Torino to train engineering students who, between lectures and exams, design and build racing boats and single-seaters: materials, method and applied know-how at the core. They learnt when the process makes the difference – even beyond the university workshop – with Plexus structural adhesives, spray tack and infusion consumables, key elements in composite materials engineering.
