Sea Crowd, from Paris to Fort Lauderdale

Share:

augusto-vecchi-aldo-mannaSea Crowd, the first European crowdfunding platform aimed at supporting innovative projects about the sea, has been launched and is on line since last September 30th.
The newly launched crowdfunding platform has been showcased at EURONAVAL fair in Paris, and the Sea Crowd’s COO Mr. Aldo Manna also attended at the 57th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (November 3rd to 7th), where he met yachts builders, brokers and important designers.
Sea Crowd has in fact raised interest also outside of Europe: among the projects currently in due diligence on www.sea-crowd.com, there are also some coming just from the USA, like the designer from New York who would like to use this Italian platform to launch his innovative catamaran and make it known through Europe.
The President and founder of Sea Crowd Augusto Vecchi tells that the first projects to be put on the platform in crowdfunding are ethical initiatives, for instance the research of funds for a Swiss non-profit organisation working in Liguria.
