The shareholders of the Quick Group – the Marzucco family, Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, and Armònia – have appointed Stefano Lenarduzzi as CEO of the Group. As planned at the time of the majority investment by Fondo Italiano d’Investimento and Armònia in September 2022, Stefano Lenarduzzi, a native of Padua and former General Manager of Maschio Gaspardo, brings extensive experience in senior leadership roles within industrial companies, including Sintesi and FPT Industrie, along with a solid knowledge of the marine sector.

The increasing complexity of the Group following recent acquisitions – Sanguineti, Nemo, Xenta, and U.S.-based YMS – as well as growing international exposure and an expanded product range, calls for a more structured, managerial approach to operational management in order to fully realize the project’s potential. The historic Romagna-based brand, founded in Piangipane (Ravenna) in 1969, is internationally recognized for its technological innovation and reliability in the production of marine components. Its offering includes a full range of stabilization technologies — gyroscopic stabilizers, intruders, and fins — the renowned steering and navigation control systems by Xenta, the hydraulic and electric handling systems by Sanguineti, and large yacht doors and portholes by Nemo. With approximately €100 million in revenue, Quick Group is today one of the leading players in the marine components industry.

Michele Marzucco and his family will continue to support the project, contributing their vision and in-depth industry knowledge. Michele Marzucco, who will remain on the Group’s Board of Directors, stated: “We are very pleased to have brought Stefano on board, as he will bring a crucial contribution of expertise, managerial skills, and enthusiasm, strengthening the team in view of future challenges.” Stefano Lenarduzzi, the new CEO, stated: “I have taken on this new challenge with great enthusiasm and passion, recognizing the potential of the project and the real possibility of strengthening the Group’s leadership in components with a higher technological content.”

“As we envisioned at the beginning of our journey with the Marzucco family,” said Gianpaolo Di Dio, Chairman of the Quick Group and Senior Partner of Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, “the increased complexity of the Group calls for renewed governance and a gradual shift toward a more managerial operational structure. Stefano is the right person to lead this transformation, thanks to his skills and enthusiasm. We are grateful to Michele, who has led the Group until now, for his work and vision, which have enabled the company to remain a champion of technological innovation. We are confident that the Marzucco family will continue to support the project with their characteristic passion and enthusiasm.”

MC2 Quick Gyro Sea Trials at Genoa International Boat Show 2025

Quick Group, a global leader in marine equipment design and manufacturing, will offer attendees the chance to experience its exceptional MC2 Quick Gyro stabilizer in real-world sea trials during the Genoa International Boat Show, 18-23 September 2025. Show-goers, boat owners, and industry clients will be able to see the gyro in action during a 15–20 minute trial on Quick Group’s Nimbus T11 demo vessel.

Attendees who commit to an MC2 Quick Gyro at the show or after a sea trial will receive an exclusive promotional rate, valid until the end of 2025. Sea trial slots can be booked in advance via quickgroup.com or through the dedicated booking form.

Operating from Quick Group’s pontoon stand (Banchina E – Booth YE702A), the sea trials will demonstrate the transformative effect of the MC2 Quick Gyro stabilizer, highlighting its ease of installation and maintenance. Experts will be on hand to explain the technology and answer questions. Andreas Karlsen, Chief Commercial Officer at Quick Group, states: “Sea trials are crucial, as they allow users to experience first-hand the performance and flexibility of our MC2 system. The gyro can be mounted anywhere on board and still provides exceptional stability, both underway and at anchor. Being air-cooled, it eliminates the need for complex installations and through-hull fittings, simplifying maintenance.”

The MC2 Quick Gyro was conceived from an innovative, compact stabilizer design and enhanced through Quick Group’s extensive in-house R&D. Multiple models, all based on the same footprint, allow installation flexibility. Air-cooling instead of complex seawater systems ensures easier in-situ maintenance, reducing costs and potential points of failure, while delivering a smoother ride for both cruising and ownership experience.
